Dogma in Software Engineering
Does dogma have it's place?
Does dogma have a place in software engineering?
Sometimes I feel inclined to argue against dogmatic practices: “We can be practical and make an exception here…”
But I think I have been bitten by this more often than not. In truth, I believe teams that follow their standards religiously, without exception, are going to have higher quality code than teams that don’t.
