I'm Leaving Rev
A quick appreciation post for the people who helped me get here
As I leave Rev Intelligence to start a new journey in my life, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to the many incredible people who have supported me along the way. While this list isn’t exhaustive, these are a few key individuals who have had a particularly profound impact on my journey:
1. Mike Bennett has been an endless source of support and wisdom. His example and advice have taught me so much about being an effective leader on a software team.
2. Sean Dwyer is the person I point to when I need to prove I'm a "real" engineer. Since I don't have a strong academic background, I owe so much of my technical growth to Sean's incredible mentorship. My code style, knowledge of architecture, UI best practices, and more are all influenced by him in some way.
3. Jonathan Spier is the kind of CEO everyone dreams of having. Approachable, a great listener, and genuinely invested in his team, he gave me trust, amplified my voice within the company, and provided invaluable mentorship on how to be a strong team leader and manager.
4. The teammates I've had the privilege of working with at Rev, both recently and over the years: Leeann Ho, Javier G, Elias Bravo, Nicole Walker, Rebecca Reynolds, Roger Wu, Luis Ricardo Gallego Tercero, Gabriel Grover, Anton Kim, David Arias Romero, Jennifer Flynn, Brendan Homnick, Steve Biafore, Alex Quintero—you are all truly top-tier talent. This team constantly supported and lifted each other up, even now as we’re scattered across different companies. You are the gold standard I’ll compare every future team to.
Leaving such an amazing group of people is bittersweet, but I’m thrilled about the future with Fiddler AI. They’ve shown every green flag when it comes to employee treatment and culture, and their commitment to responsible AI is something I’m truly excited to be a part of.
